Casey Barna has been a member of the Somerville High School Valkyrie for 3 years, and is currently a World News editor for the 2024-2025 edition. Casey is a varsity cheerleader at Somerville High School, and is also involved in many other clubs and activities throughout the school. These include Key Club, SMAC Club, and Somerville Yearbook. Outside of school, Casey enjoys baking and playing with her dogs, Buster and Misty. She also enjoys shopping and hanging out with friends at coffee shops! Casey values her role as an editor for the Valkyrie Newspaper, because it has taught her responsibility and leadership skills. She looks forward to remaining an active member of the newspaper, as the paper transfers into this exciting website!
