Pioneers were on cloud nine this past week during SHS Drama Club’s musical production, All Shook Up. Performances were held in the auditorium for three nights, opening on Thursday, March 6th, and closing on Saturday, March 8th. The outstanding cast spared no effort each night, as the audience roared with laughter at every line. Between the incredible vocals, choreography, lights, and live music, it was simply impossible not to be in awe.
Anticipation filled the room as the curtain rose to the familiar beat of Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock,” assuring the audience they were in for a treat. Logan Ebersole, a sophomore and male lead, took the stage with full force, unveiling his flawless Elvis-esque persona.

The casting was spot-on for every role. All performers seamlessly transformed into their characters, completely immersing themselves and the audience in the story. Senior leads Kiera Vidal, Alyssa Pallitto, and Ryan Landrieu delivered spectacular performances. For the senior cast members, this was their final show on the Somerville stage, and their dedication and confidence shone as they left behind one last incredible performance.
To carry on the legacy, this year’s production featured many talented underclassmen. Freshman leads Carly Giuliano, Phoenix Moore, and Chayse Johnson made impressive debuts, showing no signs of timidity. Sophomore lead Jack Kern left everything on the stage, fully embodying the character of Dean Hyde. Looking ahead to next year, Aaron Fodor from the class of 2026, who portrayed the awkward best friend Dennis, gave an astounding performance and will undoubtedly continue to excel as a senior.
Audiences were truly captivated by love at this unforgettable performance, thanks to the dedication and passion of everyone involved in making the show possible.
