Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars was groundbreaking and one for the books! The show that takes famous stars and partners them with incredible dancers hit astronomical records with a sixteen percent increase in views. About six million people tuned into the finale when Bachelor star Joey Graziadei and pro dancer Jenna Johnson took home the mirror ball. Additionally, the voting record was broken in the finale episode with thirty-two million votes, twelve million more than the episode before. At the beginning of the season two unbelievably talented dancers, Ezra Sosa, and Rylee Arnold took the show for a whirlwind by connecting with audience members on TikTok.

From then on, trends were created, and each pair in the running for the mirror ball began to use TikTok as a way to engage with their voters.

When asked what their favorite part of the season was, Somerville High School student and fan of the show, Trinity Blomquist stated, “There are too many funny, exciting, and out-of-pocket moments to pick!” Many fans anxiously await the announcement of a spring season and can’t wait to see their favorite stars return to the ballroom!
